MU paints new futures at FroSHS Week 2026

The annual FroSHS Week occurs during the first week of the new academic year. It is a tradition that welcomes freshmen and engages them with orientations, events, booths, and activities. This year’s FroSHS Week, “Canvas of Possibilities,” took place last August 3 to 6 and eventually concluding on on August 12, as continuous inclement weather for the rest of the week postponed some events.

MU to increase fees by 3% in A.Y. 2026-2027

Last February 26, Mapua University (MU) administration held a consultation with student representatives to discuss the fee increase that will take effect in the academic year 2026-2027. Tuition, laboratory, and miscellaneous fees will be increased by 3% and will be implemented for the college department.

MU Reverts to Quarterm System for A.Y. 2026-2027

Two years after adopting a trimestral system, Mapúa University (MU) returns to the quarterm system this upcoming Academic Year 2026-2027. This change necessitates adjustments in various aspects of the academe for both faculty and students alike. While this transition to the previous system aims to enhance the academic experience, many students have expressed concerns regarding its financial implications and associated workload.

COO unleashes Mapúan potential with Orgs’ Week 2025

Mapúa University’s Council of Organizations (COO) kicked off Orgs’ Week 2025 last May 26, following the theme “Unlocking Potentials.” The said week showcases the leadership, imagination and unity of the university’s student organizations. A variety of activities such as seminars, games, and interactive events were held in both Intramuros and Makati campuses until May 30.
