MU COMELEC proclaims elected officers for local councils for A.Y. 2026-2027

The Mapúa University – Commission on Elections (COMELEC) have officially proclaimed the newly elected School Student Council officers for the Academic Year 2026–2027 through the approval of COMELEC Resolution No. 04, Series of 2026. The resolution states that the local council elections concluded with a cumulative total of 516 votes across all participating departments.

School of Artificial Intelligence, Electrical, Computer, and Electronics Engineering (AIEECE) 

The newly elected officers are as follows:

President: Janh Mariel P. Bonifacio – 90.00%

Executive Secretary: Graciel Anne Nicole C. Maranan – 92.5%

Executive Treasurer: Godwin Kale L. Acoba – 85.00%

Auditor: Elijah James Bobadilla – 87.5%

Public Relations Officer: Harvey Blaize A. Ramirez – 92.5%

Official COMELEC records log department voter turnouts stood at 7.75% for AIECEE, 12.79% for ARIDBE, 10.85% for CBMES, 12.40% for CEGE, 3.29% for ETYSB, 5.23% for IE-EMG, 1.55% for MME, 4.84% for SFSE, 22.48% for SOHS, 6.97% for SOIT, 5.03% for SOMDA, and 6.78% for SON.

The induction ceremony and oath-taking of elected officers will be held on October 20, 2026, at the Seminar Room of the Intramuros Campus.
