In preparation for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 101 Volleyball Tournament, members from Mapúa University’s Junior Volleyball Team competed in the 2025 Spikers’ Turf Tournament held from October 27 to November 29, falling after suffering a hard-fought 1–6 final tally.

Under the bright lights, loud cheers, and unelucidated blood, sweat, and tears of the Ohama Daishin Arena, Mapúan Taekwondo athlete Dean Ziglar V. Barreiro carved his name into the international spotlight after capturing gold at the prestigious 21st Japan WATA Open Taekwondo Championship held last April 26 to 27.

Shining the taraflex with sheens of red and gold, the Mapúa University (MU) Junior Spikers capped off their season run with a final four appearance, finishing fourth place in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 100 Volleyball Fiesta after falling short against the Arellano University (AU) Braves in the battle for bronze, logging a commanding 7-2 win-loss record going into the semi-finals.
