MU Council of Organizations opens Organizations’ Week 2025

Earlier today, May 26, the Mapúa University Council of Organizations (COO) commenced this year’s Organization’s Week at the Intramuros Campus gymnasium. Dubbed as “Orgs’ Week: Unlocking Potentials” the week-long celebration will feature events in both campuses.
Attendees were welcomed by a remark from COO Adviser Dr. John Christopher D. Castillo where he emphasized the importance of having passion to serve and integrity. “Only those who risk can tell how far they can go,” he relays when mentioning the qualities of a leader,” he remarked.
True to their tagline “United in Action and Mapúan Excellence,” a handful from the current roster of officers led the attendees to an ice-breaking Zumba exercise. Shortly after, the oath of leadership was delivered by External Vice President Szera Yasmeen A. Mahmudd. while President Jinjer Rianne Arante later gave a message of gratitude.
Upcoming events include networking affairs as the COO launches Skybound: Enriching Organization Potential; two episodes of their ‘Ano Nga Ba?’ series, where one of which will be featuring Akbayan first nominee, Atty. Chel Diokno; interactive affairs such as open mics, the orgs’ mission impossible, and human bingo. The annual Teknorampa will cap off the seven-day festivity will be capped off with the Teknorampa 2025.
