MU ranks in THE’s Asia University Rankings for fourth consecutive year

Mapúa University (MU) is among the six ranked PH institutions included in the recently released Times Higher Education’s (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026. Ranking within the band of 601-800, MU ties with five other schools in the second rank.
This year, MU garnered an overall score of 23.3-30.8, a rise from last year’s 13.6-28.2. The overall score was defined by five main performance indicators, wherein MU obtained the following scores: Research Quality (39.6), Industry (23.4), International Outlook (23.2), Research Environment (18.0), and Teaching (16.3).
Moreover, 42 PH schools were granted Reporter status – a jump from last year’s count of 15.
MU shares the second spot with De La Salle University, University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines, and Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology. Leading the ranked PH schools is Ateneo de Manila University in the 501-600 bracket.
